50 Nintendo 64 games now run as native Windows, macOS or Linux programs, with no emulator. Fans rebuilt them through 17 decompilation and 45 recompilation projects, and 40 of these ports are playable from start to finish. This list is built from the PlayPorted catalog, so it changes as projects ship.

How to play them
- Get the game's ROM from a cartridge you own. Each project's page names the version it needs, often the US release.
- Download the port from its project page. Every row above links to the port's page on PlayPorted, which links to the project.
- Point the port at your ROM. Most recomps ask for it on first launch and build their files from it.
Decomps and recomps get there differently, which is why some ports appear quickly and others take years. Decomp vs recomp explains the difference.
Questions
Is this emulation?
No. Each port is the game rebuilt as a native program. That is how many of them add widescreen, high frame rates and mods, which are hard to add to an emulated game.
Do they work on Steam Deck and Linux?
43 of these ports ship for Linux, which is how most people run them on Steam Deck. The others are Windows-only or not confirmed yet.
What about Mac?
26 ship for macOS. Check each port's page for its systems.
Can I download the games here?
No. PlayPorted links to the projects and never hosts game files. Every port needs a ROM from a copy you own.
