Twisted Metal 4 PC port: quick answers
- Do I need to own Twisted Metal 4?
- Yes. TwistedMetal4 Recompiled needs game files from a copy you own. PlayPorted links only to the project page and never to game files.
- Is the Twisted Metal 4 PC port finished?
- It is in beta: playable, with known issues. Its last update was Oct 2026, and the latest release is v0.3.37.
- Which systems does it run on?
- Windows.
- Is it an emulator?
- No. TwistedMetal4 Recompiled translates the original game code into native code, so it runs without an emulator.
