Spider-Man PC port: quick answers
- Do I need to own Spider-Man?
- Yes. OpenSpideyPS1 needs game files from a copy you own. PlayPorted links only to the project page and never to game files.
- Is the Spider-Man PC port finished?
- It is in beta: playable, with known issues. Its last update was Sep 2026, and the latest release is sm2-v1.1.
- Which systems does it run on?
- Windows.
- Is it an emulator?
- No. OpenSpideyPS1 translates the original game code into native code, so it runs without an emulator.
